2. Didactic and Methodical Considerations "The Model Interpretations" offer an interpretation of each short story including a plot outline. The 'teaching units' suggest various different teaching and learning methods such as pair/group work and individual assignments, blackboard sketches or diagrams, stimuli for discussion in class, research work on the internet, and finally home assignments which include a stage-script and plot-outlines both in oral and in written form. Though the 'teaching units' present many possible approaches to each story they are meant as a guideline, for the decision, which priorities to set up and how many lessons are needed for each unit, depends on the abilities and interests of the students and is therefore ultimately left to the teacher himself. |
